The U-Shaped Photoelectric Speed Encoder Sensor is a compact optical interrupt sensor designed for speed detection, pulse counting, and position control. It works by detecting objects passing through its 10mm slot using an infrared LED and phototransistor pair. The built-in LM393 comparator ensures a clean and stable digital output signal. Operating at 5V DC, this sensor is widely used in motor speed measurement, robotics, automation systems, and limit switch applications. Its fast response and reliable switching make it suitable for detecting rotation pulses, object movement, and obstacle presence in embedded electronic projects.
